Tyson Perez extend his contract until 2029

Unicaja and Tyson Pérez have reached an agreement to extend his contract until 2029. Tyson Pérez, in his first season in Unicaja has been an example of competitiveness, being crucial in vital games that later became the basis of the successes achieved in the Copa del Rey or the BCL, as well as great performances in the Endesa League Playoffs. Pérez and Unicaja, together 4 more seasons.

Record of subscribers with 99.39% renewals

Unicaja's bond with its fans is stronger than ever. This is demonstrated by the data, the renewal campaign has ended with a percentage of 99.39%, truly spectacular. López Nieto, City of Malaga 2025 Award

The President of Unicaja Basketball, Antonio Jesús López Nieto, has been honoured at the City of Málaga Awards in the Sports category. These awards are granted by all the political groups of the Malaga City Council, which in this case have unanimously approved the vote. The awards ceremony will take place on 12th September at Malaga City Hall.

Yankuba Sima leaves Unicaja

The player Yankuba Sima has exercised his unilateral right of early termination of the contract that linked him to Unicaja, after paying his buyout. The center this decides to end his time in Malaga, in which he was proclaimed champion of the BCL twice (2024 and 2025), Copa del Rey twice (2023 and 2025) and the Intercontinental Cup and Supercopa in 2024.

Chris Duarte, talent for Unicaja

Unicaja has reached an agreement to sign forward Chris Duarte (1.96 meters, 28 years old) for the next two seasons. The player, international with Dominican Republic, has played the last 4 seasons in the NBA. Selected in the 2021 Draft at number 13 by Indiana Pacers, he has also worn the jerseys of Sacramento Kings and Chicago Bulls. Duarte stands out for his scoring talent with a high shooting range and his defensive aggressiveness.
