Unicaja, Andalusia Sports Award 2024

The Andalusian Government presented the award for the best team in the region in 2024 to Unicaja. The Malaga team won the BCL, FIBA Intercontinental Cup and Spanish Super Cup last year.

Unicaja's road to the FIBA Intercontinental Cup 2025 Singapore

The FIBA Intercontinental Cup returns to Singapore this September with reigning champion Unicaja of Spain returning to defend their title. Unicaja's opponents will be Alahli SC (Libya), Utsunomiya Brex (Japan), Flamengo (Brazil), Illawarra Hawks (Australia), NBA G League United (USA). From 18 to 21 September at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Unicaja will defend the title of FIBA Intercontinental Champion.

Unicaja Mijas schedule 2025-26

The schedule of Unicaja Mijas 2025-26 in the LF Challenge is now known. The league will start on Saturday 27 September, when the Malaga team will visit Vega Lagunera Toyota Adareva Tenerife. The first game at the Martín Urbano Arena will be on the second round, on the 4th of October at 18:00 hours Unicaja Mijas will receive the Valencian team La Cordá de Paterna NB.

Tyson Perez extend his contract until 2029

Unicaja and Tyson Pérez have reached an agreement to extend his contract until 2029. Tyson Pérez, in his first season in Unicaja has been an example of competitiveness, being crucial in vital games that later became the basis of the successes achieved in the Copa del Rey or the BCL, as well as great performances in the Endesa League Playoffs. Pérez and Unicaja, together 4 more seasons.
