Xavier Castañeda, a talent for Unicaja's perimeter

Unicaja has reached an agreement for the signing of point guard Xavier Castañeda (1.84 m., 25 years old) for next season plus an additional one. The player, born in America but with a Bosnian passport, comes from Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse in France, where he was the second-highest scorer in the French league, and now he has become the Club's second signing for the 2025-26 season.
