The Unicaja Girls' Cadet Team claimed the gold medal at the Andalusian Championship after a flawless tournament, finishing with a perfect record. The team, coached by Alejandro García, recorded six wins in six games, capping off their brilliant performance with a decisive victory in the final against CD RACA (67-25).
Unicaja fell to Valencia Basket 89-96. The team lost in a close game that was decided in the final minute against one of the most in-form teams in Europe. Chris Duarte was Unicaja's best player (22 points, 4 assists, 22 PIR).
The legendary coach Bozidar Maljkovic received the Unicaja Baloncesto Gold Medal at halftime of the game between Unicaja and Valencia Basket. This award recognizes the outstanding work of a historic figure on the Club's bench, whom he led between 1999 and 2003, winning the 2001 Korac Cup, the first title for our trophy case.
