Unicaja Mijas is back at the Carpena! For the third time in its history, the women's team will play an official match at the Palacio de los Deportes this Saturday, January 17th, facing Vega Lagunera Toyota Adareva Tenerife in Round 16 of the Liga Femenina Challenge. The game will kick off at 8:30 PM, following the Unicaja vs. Coviran Granada game, so we expect great support from the fans. Come to the Carpena and enjoy two fantastic games for the price of one!

An exhausted Unicaja Mijas paid the price for playing three games in just six days and lost to Celta Femxa Zorka (67-73) in a match in which the Malaga team struggled to maintain their level of performance throughout the 40 minutes, although they reached the final moments with a real chance of winning. On an individual level, Cesarina Capellán made a notable comeback, scoring 17 points after recovering from injury, and Tayra Eke set a rebounding record with 17 rebounds.

Unicaja achieved a great victory in their visit to the Roig Arena, defeating Valencia Basket 70-76. The team, led by a tremendous Chase Audige, managed to impose their rhythm in the third quarter to come back against an opponent that, until today, had not lost at home in the Liga Endesa. Unicaja became the first team to take the victory on this court. Audige was sensational (20 points, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 18 PIR).
