Javier Imbroda, Star of Sports Merit

Former Unicaja coach and national basketball legend Javier Imbroda already has the Sports Merit Star on the 'Paseo de las Estrellas', located at the main door of Martín Carpena. Unicaja in its entirety was present at the event organized by the Malaga City Council: the President of the Entity, Antonio Jesús López Nieto; the sports director, Juanma Rodríguez, as well as all the players and members of the first team coaching staff. The recognition was also attended by important personalities such as the Mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre, and the President of the Junta de Andalucía, Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla. The honoree wanted to thank the presence of the Club. "Unicaja is part of my life," Javier Imbroda pointed out.
