Unicaja's season is being special for many reasons, but if there is something that stands out this year it is for the reconquest of the Carpena public. This year the average attendance at the 17 games that have been played at the Martín Carpena in the regular phase of the Endesa League is 8,844, the best in the entire competition. The fight for first place in attendance has been tough throughout the season between Unicaja and Baskonia, and the team from Vitoria finally finished with an average of 8,781 spectators.
